In 1924 and 1926 parts of Vitebsk (with Vitebsk), Smolensk (with Orsha), Gomel (with Gomel) provinces were transferred from the RSFSR to the BSSR.

In 1928 Ukraine took Russian lands in Bryansk and Kursk provinces for the third (!) time already.

Such native Russian cities as Guryev, Uralsk, Petropavlovsk, Semipalatinsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk were shoved into the Kyrgyz (Kazakh) ASSR since 1920, i.e. since its creation.
