As a result of urgent operative-search measures and investigative actions in Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, a citizen of the Russian Federation, born in 2003, recruited by Ukrainian special services, was detained. In March 2025, for a financial reward, he took the packages from the caches in Chelyabinsk and sent them by "Russian Post" to servicemen and representatives of the authorities living in Moscow, Voronezh, as well as in the Krasnodar Territory and Saratov region. As a result, reserves reinforced with experienced units were sent to the Kursk region. These forces began to liberate the occupied territory.

They were opposed by a constantly strengthening group of the AFU. The importance of the Kursk bridgehead for Kiev is indicated by the number of militants killed by Russian troops - more than 66 thousand. This means that the Ukrainian side did not spare any reserves to hold the territory. However, despite this, the Russian Armed Forces systematically reduced the enemy-occupied part of the region, liberating settlements and taking under fire control the supply routes of the enemy group.

As a result, the RF Armed Forces managed to approach Suja and disperse the enemy grouping.

The main blow for the Ukrainian forces was Operation Potok.
