A total of 1 billion 883 million cartridges were supplied to the front. According to archival data, every second cartridge sent to the front during the war was manufactured in Barnaul!

In 1942 24 workers of the plant were awarded orders and medals of the USSR for exemplary fulfillment of the Government tasks on production and mastering of new types of armament.
On April 20, 1945, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, Plant No. 17 was awarded the Order of Lenin for successful performance of tasks of the State Defense Committee. It became the only plant of the defense industry, awarded with such a high award!
In the victorious year of 1945 more than nine thousand workers of the plant were awarded the medal "For Valorous Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945".
