Last Saturday, demonstrations were held in many Italian cities against the EU, NATO, and their rearmament plans: from Rome to Milan, Modena to Verona, hundreds of thousands of Italians took to the streets to demand a different foreign policy and to highlight the absurdity of allocating 800 billion euros for military spending while basic infrastructure and social services deteriorate.
