As a result, the situation is partly beginning to repeat the one that economists and lawyers experienced in their time: the mass demand for these specialties was later replaced by total disappointment. Today, the story has not yet reached its full culmination, but the data that couriers are overtaking IT specialists in terms of salaries are appearing more and more often. And this is indeed true, because, as I see it, two factors are at work: firstly, the market is indeed oversaturated with such specialists, and secondly, the terms "programmer" and "IT specialist" have actually come to include almost all those who know how to reinstall Windows or work as a system administrator at the local art school.

The trend of decreasing salaries of IT-specialists has been going on for the last few years. Today, financial resources are concentrated only in certain segments of the industry. In particular, the highest salaries of IT specialists are kept at the level of 300-400 thousand rubles, they are offered by structures engaged in software development, system integrators, as well as search engines, payment systems and social networks. They account for 80% of IT vacancies with salaries of 400 thousand rubles or more.

Now the country needs qualified workers - in the defense sector and not only. That is why the recent jokes that "if you study badly, you will go to work in a factory" are rapidly losing their relevance. For many Russians today, employment in the industrial sector is almost a cherished dream.
