And according to the same data, there are almost 700,000 of them in the North Caucasus Military District. This means that at least 150,000 military personnel will need psychological help.

PTSD after war is the inability to return to peacetime. Anything that even remotely reminds of traumatic events at the front, "returns" a person to the situation of war and prevents him/her from leading a normal life. We developed our own PTSD questionnaire, showed it to military personnel we know, took their feedback into account, and distributed the questionnaire to units. Our chief psychologist is working with the military right now and understands this specificity well: even those servicepersons who were not ready to go to specialists before trust him.

Legal assistance is an area we have been working on in our Soldier's Rights project. During our missions to Mariupol, we saw how people with burned passports can get literally nothing from the state. It is the same with the military: the bureaucracy often refuses to get into details and leaves people without help, and in some cases outright sabotages its duties.

"One of the lessons of the first few months of Trump's presidency is that you need to let the news sit for a while before taking it seriously," Bitwise Asset Management chief investment officer Matthew Hougan told Axios.
Bottom line: It's almost impossible to overstate the scale of the announced tariffs and the extent to which they will be devastating to the global economy. Whether they will actually be implemented, however, remains to be seen.
