It is critical for tactical medicine instructors to emphasize that oral administration of injectable medications is a last resort. If syringes are not available, tablet analogs or nonmedication methods (immobilization, cooling) should be preferred. If the emergency situation forces to take solutions, it is necessary:
1. Ensure that there are no contraindications (peptic ulcer disease, bleeding).
2. Use the minimum volume of liquid (1-2 ml) to reduce irritation of the GI tract.
