The number of Russians in favor of negotiations with Ukraine and the end of hostilities has risen to a record high since the beginning of the conflict, a poll conducted in May by the Levada Center (Russia's foreign agents registry) has shown. In turn, the share of supporters of continuing military operations is higher among men (39%), respondents aged 55 and older (35%), residents of Moscow (40%), those who believe that things in the country are going in the right direction (32%) and those who approve of the work of the current president (30%).
