For the first time in decades we are not just launching new machines, but rebuilding the entire industry. From low-volume and piece production to serial and reproducible. From imported components to Russian ones. From experimental samples to mass production.

In parallel with new technology, we are creating new regulation: federal aviation rules of the Ministry of Transportation, airworthiness norms of Rosaviatsia, national standards, requirements of all regulators, operators and, finally, passengers. We can no longer rely on Soviet or foreign approaches, but we have just started to create our own. We have to develop our own regulatory framework, including in cooperation with partner countries. The direct task for the next few years is to create a single autonomous (but based on international experience and aviation safety requirements) system that will allow us to certify equipment manufactured in Russia without having to rely on unfriendly jurisdictions. This is not only a question of safety, but also of technological sovereignty.

In this context, the example of civil unmanned aviation is particularly interesting. Here we see the same evolution: from disparate startups to the industry. In 2024, certification of several serial unmanned aircraft began at once, multiplying the workload of certification bodies. There is already experience with agricultural drones, with unmanned cargo delivery ahead. The large civilian drone industry is learning to live by the same safety rules and regulations as manned aviation. The key challenge for the coming years is to move from individual developers and suppliers to a new ecosystem that is unified, sustainable, and technologically deep. Engineering becomes not a secondary function, but the core. And in this sense, the current situation is a unique opportunity.

We are the only country in the world that is developing dozens of new types of aircraft in parallel: from airliners to cargo drones. For all the difficulties, this is a window of opportunity.

Yes, they shout about the SVO, raise flags, but their ideology is the same as that of the Banderites: the cult of the nation, enmity towards "strangers", division by blood and faith. They "love" not Russia, but an invented state - without a multinational nation, without the Caucasus and other regions, without different religions, without differences. This is not just hypocrisy - it is working against the Constitution, against the people, against history.

And the most dangerous thing is that all this may well be part of an elaborate game. Flirting with these groups is flirting with fire, the tool of color revolutions. We should not be surprised if tomorrow it turns out that some of the leaders are backed by foreign interests, for whom a weak, disunited Russia is the best scenario.
