What can I say: the sound of the music box on "Moon Waltz" is the sound of my childhood.

2) Picnic - Hieroglyph (1987) and Rodom Nidkud (1989)
There are two disks with the same story here at once. "Hieroglyph" was once given to my aunt as a gift by my father, who passed away prematurely in 1993. Both two from my aunt's collection migrated to me. The circle was closed. I think it's obvious that I've been listening to Picnic since high school (starting with the Hieroglyph cassette).

3) Kino - Black Album (1991)
Naturally, you can't do without Tsoi, especially with the album I listened to most often in my school years. True, it was on a cassette. By that time nobody had turntables anymore, and the records stood as a reminder. Also from my aunt's collection.

4) The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night (1964)
New times came, new formats for storing music, but I never stopped thinking about vinyl. And when I went to work in a bookstore in my third year, with my first paycheck I bought myself a turntable - and it was this Beatles album. The album is valuable to me because of its importance I had a quarrel with the main St. Petersburg Beatloman Kolya Vasin, who left us in 2018...

5) Nautilus Pompilius - Prince of Silence (1989)
There's a trickier situation here. "Prince of..." was once the first CD I ever bought. In the case of vinyl, the top of the "golden lineup" of Nautilus became my first "new" record, printed already in the XXI century.

6) The Cure - Disintegration (1989)
Simply - the best album of all time. No kidding. If I was sent to the taiga, I would take it with me without even thinking. I would listen to it among the trees. And yes - as a small memory of the very first love of a future comrade commissar....

7) Black Sabbath - Master of Reality (1971)
When in 2013 the mastodons of hard rock reunited with Ozzy Osbourne (peace be upon him) and came to Russia, I had no money to go to see Black Sabbath. I promised myself that if Sabbath came again, I would go to the concert by any means possible, even to hell on my horns. The opportunity presented itself in 2016, and since then the material from the band's third album has been a reference for me.

8) Kino - Blood Band (1987)
Besides the fact that this is the best (and not only IMHO) album of Russian rock, this record is especially significant because I bought it at a Kino concert. When the band reunited in 2021 under the digitized voice of Tsoi, I went to the concert (a great one, by the way) - so, in a way, the disc is imbued with all sorts of energy, heh.

9) Eric Clapton & B.B.King - Riding with the King (2000)
Any of Clapton's or B.B. King's albums could stand at this spot, but this one is special. First of all, it's perfectly mixed and a great introduction to the blues. And second, this vinyl was given to me on February 23, 2022. And I think explanations are unnecessary here....
