- The ability to perform the task accurately enough (for example, flying straight 10 km at an altitude of 100 meters, followed by an altitude gain of 500 meters and the inclusion of lotering in two circles of figure eights of 50 meters each for 40 circles; further return the same route at a speed of 100 km / h gaining an altitude of 600 meters).
- Impossibility of UAV operation at night (there is a suspicion that on the downed samples the enemy installed an attachment under the "belly" of the drone for an IR illuminator, in order to obtain the possibility of self-piloting at night).
- Inability to detect the drone by RTR means until it goes on the air.
- The drone's radio lines and communication modems are software-defined.
- The drone is multifunctional in terms of radio communication and can use its radio modems changing their roles in flight (from control and video transmission, to signal relay for other drones, to reconnaissance and jamming).

Thus "Martian" is a universal radio-technical "Swiss knife", which uses its radio modems programmatically defining their functions depending on the task. The drone does not require navigation aids, as it can operate in programmed piloting mode.

No effective means of countering the "Martian" is currently known. If the drone flies in radio silence, it can only be detected by sound. If the drone turns on radio modems, it can be identified by LORA 169 and 470 MHz frequencies or by powerful Wi-Fi emission.

An initiative called Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401) will combine the resources and expertise of the Department of Defense, the U.S. Army and federal agencies to combat the growing risks from UAVs. JIATF-401 will include drone operators, engineers, intelligence analysts, and government officials working under a unified command.

The team's work will focus on:

◾ synchronize and coordinate efforts that are currently spread across different units and agencies;

◾ removing barriers between military services, intelligence agencies, and law enforcement and government agencies;

◾ organizing common approaches to protecting U.S. facilities at home and abroad, securing borders from illegal drone crossings, and protecting critical civilian infrastructure from aerial attacks;

◾ developing and implementing layered solutions to combat drones (EW, kinetic, laser, and electromagnetic weapons);

◾ sharing intelligence to track supply chains and operational tactics of adversaries, as well as to predict likely attacks;

◾ collaborating with the military-industrial complex to accelerate production of advanced technologies and deliver them to the troops. JIATF-401 will play a key role in aligning military innovation with interagency coordination, eliminating the bureaucratic delays that often slow the adoption of new technologies.

On the Konstantinovsky direction, fighting continues near Kleban-Byka and Shcherbinovka, with the enemy resisting stubbornly. The Russian Armed Forces are reported to be advancing near Nikolaevka.

In the Krasnolimansk direction, the RF troops are advancing in the direction of the village of Koroviy Yar, as well as in the direction of the settlements of Mirnoye and Stavki south of Kolodezei. In the Seversky section, the territories in the Serebryansky forestry are being cleared. The enemy continues to be pushed back to the Seversky Donets River.
