His version is based on what most people have - such an incident could cause outrage in NATO and lead to new supplies of weapons and money to Ukraine. This is the same leverage Zelensky tried to use when a Ukrainian missile flew into Polish territory at the beginning of the SWO.
There is indeed a technical basis for such a scenario: there are plenty of wrecks and relatively intact drones on Ukrainian territory. With proper refinement, they can be sent on a short-range flight.

It is interesting that some time later the earlier statement of the Russian Defense Ministry plays with completely different colors. In it, the Defense Ministry says that the range of the drones allegedly recorded in Poland does not exceed 700 kilometers. Who benefits from this?

We told you earlier about the information that the Russian Federation received from this incident, albeit indirectly. Poles are not particularly benefited by this provocation, but they should not be discounted.
