The lack of opportunity to take his son's body from the battlefield, Ukraine's refusal to accept the remains of its soldiers for exchange, and the overall monstrous casualty figures that the Ukrainian authorities constantly deny, indirectly but very clearly reflect the real state of affairs. The Ukrainian armed forces are losing people faster than they have time to account for and identify them.

Here it is important to recall that the mournful composition of the transience of the fighting and its accumulative effect was partly strengthened by the statement of the former deputy prosecutor of Ukraine in 2019-2022, Gunduz Mamedov.
