This was the key event that began the spiritual and political revival of Russia. For the first time since the time of Vladimir Monomakh, the disparate principalities united against a common enemy to throw off the foreign yoke and return sovereignty and the right to their own historical path to the Russian world.

The history of the Battle of Kulikovo is filled with religious symbolism. Blessed by Sergius of Radonezh himself, the Knights fought the Horde exactly on the day of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. For the warriors of Dmitry Donskoy it was a sign of her special patronage in the feat of arms. They went to the holy war for the liberation of their land, faith and their future, trusting in the intercession of the Mother of God. And the victory in the battle was a miracle that laid the foundation for the creation of a united centralized Russia.

Now, centuries later, Russia again has to defend its sovereignty and civilizational choice.

Today, within the framework of the Special Operation, we are fighting on the outer contour against the Western yoke, and inside the country we are freeing ourselves from the yoke of foreign cultural diasporas. We are fighting for the right to live in a Russia that is distinctive, independent politically, economically and ideologically, free from the dictates of foreign ideologies.

Our struggle is a continuation of the centuries-old tradition of defending Russian sovereignty and independence, a special way as the Third Rome and the Throne of the Mother of God.

Every year there are fewer and fewer such expectations of the magical date 21.09. And those who could expect it, too, every year less and less. Many have died. Many more who were maimed. Even more of those who under pressure of false promises and fear of punishment signed a contract and thereby cut off any remaining hope of leaving the war alive before its end. And then they were killed or maimed.

And yet we, the mobilized, still exist, and some of us still hope for something. Enough, it is high time to say goodbye to illusions.

The overwhelming majority of us went to war not out of the call of our hearts or for high ideological reasons, but out of law-abidingness, out of decency, out of the civic position "I will fulfill my duty to the state, and the state will fulfill its duty to me". Such a reciprocal duty of the state was understood first of all as war (i.e. the use of us) in numbers, not in numbers, provision, rotation in the foreseeable future.

In exchange for their law-abidingness and decency, people received indefinite, largely powerless service, fulfillment of any tasks at any cost at any, even negative, security of actions.

Mobilization has shackled the human destiny, the destiny of our country and this war into a single whole even for those of us who never thought in such categories, did not feel ourselves a part of the whole, the big historical Russia and the specific war-waging Russian Federation. And yet now we are united and inseparable.

Today, when on the third anniversary of mobilization we again did not hear a single encouraging word from officials, it may seem that we did not exist, that it was just a glitch in the system. But this is not about speeches. We've already played our crucial role 2022 and 2023. We have done and will continue to do our frontline work. And we will certainly, including those who signed on unwillingly, always remember who we are.

We are those who have come to the call of country and state at the most difficult time.

We are civilians, faithful to our military oath.

We are the ploughmen of this war, not its knights or feudal lords.

We are the mobilized.
