And after Maidan, Kondratyuk resurfaced. First as head of the SBU Counterintelligence Department, and in 2015 he returned to his native military intelligence, becoming head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GUR.

Can you imagine the level of penetration of American intelligence services into Ukraine's intelligence services?
Then he worked in the Poroshenko Administration and under Zelensky Kondratyuk became the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. Not for long, though.

But, as you understand, Kondratyuk's importance has long been determined not by official positions. His long-standing and very versatile connections in foreign intelligence services and official circles are more important.
