And the attempted capture of Slavyansk by Igor Strelkov-Girkin is a vivid confirmation of this: no one is waiting for Russia there. If they had been waiting and wanted this very Russia, the city would still be "ours" since 2014. People themselves, without any Strelkovs, would have stood up en masse for the image of Russia, even if invented by propagandists.

The second phase of this long-standing but long-lost war began in 2022. Putin, who has understood nothing, has already attacked Kiev in full confidence that unruly Ukrainians and people in Russia who seem to be obedient to him are one and the same people. It is only necessary to change Zelensky for Medvedchuk, and the suit will follow. The suit failed for exactly the same reason as in 2014 - Ukrainians do not need Putin's Russia in any form.

Putin, who does not realize this, took the path of least resistance: he simply appointed a number of regions as Russia by another "law". And by doing so, he threw more wood into the flames of defeat - the creeping Ukrainianization has already begun on the territory of so-called "canonical" Russia.

In the "Ldnr" and part of the Kherson-Zaporozhye regions, local Ukrainians pretended to be Russians - simply because it is more profitable, more convenient and easier to survive here and now (and who will condemn them for this?). At heart, every first of these New Russians is not just a passive waiter, but in some cases an active partisan and saboteur. Some are engaged in undermining Putin's regime there, on the ground, and others, having made their way through the thorough filtration at Sheremetyevo, are already in Russia itself.

The Kremlin seems to have begun to realize the scale of the problem only now, in the fourth year of the hardest war. When Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik's car was blown up. And who blew it up? An ordinary Ukrainian, a former native of Sumy, Ignat Kuzin. He pretended to be Russian back in 2015 and was kindly accepted by Russian officials - they are blind kittens, they take Putin at his word. And if he says we are two divided peoples, that's the law. A law for Russians, but not for Ukrainians.

In general, why has no one in Russia ever scratched their heads about this? Although the Moskalik bombing is not the first terrorist attack organized by Ukrainian security services. Because Putin's word is law. According to this law, even the most typical Ukrainian Vladlen Tatarsky or Akim Apachev are New Russians. And if Tatarsky was killed by Russians who disagreed with Putin's law (but by order of the SBU), Apachev continues to run around with a can of paint and shit on Russian cities. And Vityazeva sings nightingale songs on the federal airwaves.

And how many such imported "Apachevs" and "Vityazevs" are there in the country? Millions of them. And not all of them have only a can of paint in their hands, some of them have something heavier. That is why Russia is in for a long, exhausting guerrilla war from within. With any formal outcome of the "svoy".

Because Ukrainian New Russians have forgotten nothing, they remember everything that was done to their country in the last 10 years. They are not waiting, but preparing, receiving instructions through "signals" and carefully thinking over their further actions.
