A number of constituent entities of the Russian Federation have a similar regional program. In 2021, its launch was announced in the Republic of Bashkortostan: as of the spring of 2023, 90 young cultural workers received grants of 500 thousand rubles, and the measure of support was increased to 1 million rubles.

По итогам заседания Общественного совета при комитете Госдумы по культуре правительству РФ рекомендовано разработать программу поддержки деятелей культуры, которые переехали в сельскую местность.
Предлагается софинансировать программу "Земский работник культуры" из федерального бюджета. Тема поддержки молодых представителей творческих профессий на селе обсуждается уже давно, однако ждать ее, судя по всему, стоит не раньше 2025 года.
В ряде субъектов РФ действует аналогичная региональная программа. В 2021 году о ее запуске объявили в Республике Башкортостан: по состоянию на весну 2023 года гранты по 500 тысяч рублей там получили 90 молодых деятелей культуры, а меру поддержки увеличили до 1 млн рублей.
