Феномен перехода большого количества даже простейших противотанковых мин в иное качество обороны, продемонстрированный в Йемене, был слабо осознан большинством иностранных армий. А любые отсылки на проблемы саудитов и их союзников воспринимались "ну это ж саудиты".
В 2023 г аналогичный урок на Европейском ТВД преподали уже оригинальные ТМ-62 и уже не арабам. Простые мины при должном числе и правильном применении, оказались все еще более чем актуальны.

В дополнение к посту Двух Майоров об активной модернизации транспортной инфраструктуры НАТО у Закарпатской области т.н.Украины стоит добавить, что аналогичный процесс идёт и в Прибалтике.
🔻Благодаря «зеленой» энергетике в Сети появилась весьма любопытная карта, на которой указаны территории, где возможно строительство ветряных электростанций, а где нельзя (по приказу МО Латвии).
Если посмотреть на районы, то только те, что помечены ярким зелёным цветом, можно использовать под энергообъекты, а остальные — либо с ограничениями, либо и вовсе запрещено (оранжевая зона).
Ну а в запрещённой зоной оказались приграничные с Россией и Беларусью районы без учёта военных полигонов и прибрежных объектов (которые также в открытом доступе). В общем-то, ничего удивительного.
При возникновении какого-либо конфликта прибалтийские государства будут выступать первой линией, и развитая инфраструктура — это ключ к успешному ведению боевых действий. Именно этим и занимаются сейчас в НАТО.
